Referral Terms And Conditions

The Domium Refer A Friend Program (the “Program”) allows eligible customers (“Referrers”) to receive a financial reward for referring new customers (“Referees”) to Domium Holdings Pty Ltd (“Domium”). The purpose of this Program is to encourage positive word-of-mouth sharing and reward existing customers for helping others discover Domium’s home loan and conveyancing services.

General information


By participating in the Program, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, as well as all applicable Australian laws and regulations, including the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) and Australian Consumer Law. Domium may amend or withdraw the Program at any time with prior notice published on the Domium website. This document outlines how the Program operates, eligibility requirements, payment process, and compliance obligations.

Definitions


  • Domium,we, us: Domium Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 36 627 819 247, ACL 529957)
  • Referrer: a Domium customer who shares their unique referral link.
  • Referee: a new Domium customer who accesses Domium via the Referrer’s link.
  • Eligible Loan: a residential home loan arranged through Domium that proceeds to settlement.
  • Reward: a $300 cash payment (or equivalent digital Visa card) payable to theReferrer per Eligible Loan.

Program Overview


Domium’s Refer A Friend program rewards existing customers for introducing new customers who successfully settle a home loan through Domium. The program aims to promote genuine word-of-mouth referrals while maintaining compliance with Australian credit laws and consumer protections.

Eligibility — Referrer


To qualify as a Referrer, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old and an Australian resident.
  • Have a valid Domium customer account.
  • Accept these Terms and Conditions before sending invitations.
  • Share your referral only with people you personally know.

Exclusions: self-referrals, referring a spouse/partner for the same property, duplicate or fraudulent accounts, or any behaviour deemed misuse.

Eligibility — Referee


To qualify, a Referee must:

  • Be a new Domium customer.
  • Start their home loan journey using the Referrer’s unique link (or have it applied before submitting details).
  • Proceed through Domium’s credit assessment process and settle an Eligible Loan.
  • Existing Domium customers or those already recorded from other channels are not eligible.

Reward and Payment


  • Amount: $300 per Eligible Loan (inclusive of GST if applicable).
  • Timing: paid within 30 days of settlement after verification.
  • Method: direct bank transfer or digital Visa card delivered electronically.
  • No payment if the loan does not settle.
  • Only one reward per settled property loan unless otherwise stated.
  • Promotional variations (e.g., double rewards or limited offers) will bedisplayed with clear details and timing.

Tracking and Attribution


Referrals are tracked using each Referrer’s unique link. If multiple Referrers claim the same Referee, Domium will determine attribution at its discretion (e.g., first valid link used).

Disclosure and Consent


Domium includes clear disclosure language in all referral messages. Referrers must not omit or alter these disclosures. All referral benefits are communicated before or at the time of collecting the Referee’s details.

Taxes


Rewards may constitute taxable income. Participants are responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes

Prohibited Conduct

The following are not permitted:

  • Mass or automated messaging
  • Paid referral services
  • Misleading representations about Domium or its lenders
  • Creating fake accounts or manipulating eligibility

Domium may suspend participation and withhold rewards where misuse or breach occurs.

Taxes


Rewards may constitute taxable income. Participants are responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes

Program Changes and Termination


Domium reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the program at any time. Updates (including reward changes) will be published on the Domium website and within the Domium app. Any earned but unpaid rewards will remain payable where the underlying loan later settles.

Liability


To the extent permitted by law, Domium is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in the program. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing Law


These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Regulatory Notice


Domium operates under an Australian Credit Licence. Referral benefits are disclosed as required by the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) and Australian Consumer Law. Referrers must comply with applicable consumer and credit regulations.
