CONVEYANCING FIXED FEES FOR RESIDENTIAL SALE AND PURCHASE MATTERS

Our purchase-related conveyancing services cover all legal aspects of acquiring a property, ensuring a smooth and seamless process:
  • Standard residential purchase or sale conveyancing fee: $1,500
  • Standard contract review: 1 complimentary review; then $220 thereafter for each review

Our sale-related conveyancing services focus on simplifying the sale process, providing you with expert assistance from start to finish:
  • Standard commercial purchase or sale conveyancing fee: $1,800
  • Standard contract review: 1 complimentary review; then $220 thereafter for each review

DISBURSEMENTS

Disbursements refer to additional costs incurred during the property transaction process. These vary depending on the type of property being sold or purchased, local council fees, charges for certificates, the client’s personal circumstances, and whether the property is part of an Owners' Corporation.

Below are some examples of potential disbursements:
  • Title Search Fees: $30–$60  (required to confirm property ownership and legal standing)
  • Council Rates Certificate: $110–$160 (to confirm outstanding council rates and liabilities)
  • Water Authority Certificate: $50–$120 (to check any unpaid water usage or charges)
  • Owners Corporation Certificate: $200–$300 (for properties under strata title, detailing strata levies and liabilities)
  • Land Tax Clearance Certificate: $30–$50  (to verify land tax obligations)

All disbursement fees are paid directly to third parties to obtain the required documents or information. Typically, total disbursement costs range between $200 and $300, depending on the property and the specific requirements of your transaction.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES (if applicable)

In some cases, additional charges may apply depending on the specific requirements of your property transaction. Below is a list of possible additional services and their fees:
  • Commercial lease: $2,000
  • Related party transfer: $880 plus disbursements
  • Build contract review: $880
  • Mortgage and guarantor document review and solicitor’s certificate: $880
  • Registration/Withdrawal of Caveats: $330
  • Deed of Rescission: $660
These charges are in addition to standard fees and will only apply if the services are needed for your transaction.

All fees and prices quoted in this Fee Schedule are inclusive of GST (where applicable), unless stated otherwise.
